Classic Guitars International for fine classical and flamenco guitars, Chris Kamen
NEW Michel Brück Double Top
Top: Cedar Double Top - Sides & Back: Brazilian Rosewood
Scale: 650 mm - Origin: Germany
Price: SOLD

This is one of the most exciting double top guitars I have played, a unique and intriguing blend of "old" and "new", as if you found a wonderful old Hauser and were somehow able to greatly enhance its volume. Deep dark tone, reminiscent of the finest vintage European guitars but with volume akin to a fine Dammann, supported by what can only be described as "choir-like" basses and full, warm, round trebles all combining to produce a highly focused and powerfully rich presentation. Craftsmanship is of the absolute highest level. This double top raises new expectations for what is to be expected from a fine double top guitar. The back and sides are of nicely figured dark brown Brazilian Rosewood, the tuners are Rodgers, elevated fingerboard and twelve hole tie block as well . Every detail is harmonized into one beautiful whole from the rosette, to the tie block detail, and even the thoughtful placement of wood grain details on the headstock, back and side of the guitar. A superlative blend of old world craftsmanship and modern building concepts resulting in a playing and listening experience that is spellbinding. A standard setting double top.
