I remember years ago, in the late '90's when Sergei would pack up his whole family and travel down to my shop which at that time was located in Sherman Oaks California. Now it seems the entire family are builders and Sergei is doing better than ever it seems. On this like new guitar he seems to have gone ' all in ' as they say. Firstly, and always most important, I really enjoy the tonal character of this particular lattice de Jonge, I very much enjoyed playing her. She has a very pleasant voice, quick response, and plenty of power too. Sergei used figured Bubinga on the neck which is stunning, gorgeous Rosewood, a top level Spruce soundboard and also added Rodgers tuners and a sound port . I very much like this guitar and the price for this level of quality and woods is remarkable.
