This is a killer ‘Dread’ from John, with master grade Adirondack Spruce soundboard and beautiful Madagascar Rosewood for the back and sides, and notice the flame maple bindings and heel cap, just a handsome guitar from every angle.

 

Even new this Dread has plenty of power, enough to hold it’s own in any group or jam with crisp clean basses and nice ‘fat’ sounding full rich trebles and the voice? Well, if you have been reading about his other guitars on my site, you already know I love John’s guitars so much that I already have 2 of my own and have a 3rd on the way!

 

There are some great boutique builders out there that I love, like Pre War Guitar Co, but if you lean towards custom luthier-built guitars, a Baxendale is the way to go.
