Scott Tennant told me he traveled around the world multiple times over a period of 15 years with his Woodfield Grand Concert ll, and I delivered Andrew Yorks new GCll to him last year. These are obviously concert level extraordinary guitars. This one was built with a fine lattice braced Spruce top, and lovely African Ebony back and sides. It is a players guitar and has light generalized playing wear on the top, I tried to capture in the photos below. but is nicely played in and has Philips trademark treble side only elevated fret board. I think Philip is the top builder in Europe of Spruce lattice braced instruments and building in spruce is his specialty, so if you want a powerful lattice guitar but with a lovely Spruce voice, this is a great option for you.
