NEW Jim Redgate ‘WAVE’ cedar double/composite top

 

Well another masterpiece from Maestro Jim Redgate! He really hit a home run with this fabulous ‘WAVE’ model double/composite top. This guitar is like the love child of a Dammann and a Humphrey ha ha. Seriously amazing. It has the ergonomics and raised fingerboard providing ‘cutaway’ level of access to the upper registers, while at the same time providing the power, response, dynamic range and voicing of the finest Dammann or Humphrey. Add to this the ‘ergonomic’ comfort of just holding and playing this guitar and you have the complete package….a concert level instrument that is a players dream. Double tops seldom get nicer than this, and Jim really dialed in the voice on this one as well, seems he is now using a slightly deeper fundamental resonance on the WAVE guitars now, and man has it paid off. Lovely.
