I have always had a soft spot for Manuel’s guitars and was honored when he gave me permission to use his quote on my web site ‘A guitar is more than just a sound box, it is part of your soul’. Those of us who love guitars understand exactly what Manuel meant by this.

His 60’s guitars are arguably his most sought after and this one was acquired by a famous duo who have owned it for years. They hand selected it because of the warmth and beauty of the voice, the clarity and separation of the voices, and being recording artists, also because of its superb balance.

It has a couple playing marks on the top but no cracks or repairs, the owner reports it was re polished ( not refinsihed ) by Richard Brune who also installed new frets.

A truly lovely looking and sounding Velazquez that will appeal to all players….
