1968 Daniel Friederich Spruce/Fan braced

When you open the case to view this guitar your first thought is ‘wow a 60’s Friederich in near new condition’. Aside from some very light playing/string marks that you can only see if you hold the top in just the right light, it looks almost new. The owner reports that when he acquired it years ago he was told the finish is original. That may be, but in my opinion I believe it was very nicely re polished at some point in its long life. Either way the sound is divine, the lush creamy tone we all expect from a fine Friederich. I love this guitars playability as well. the strings feel as if they have very little tension, super finger friendly. The Fustero tuners operate perfectly. No cracks or repairs other than the possible re polish which if done appears to have been done many years ago. The sound is just lovely.
