The sound is clear, focused, warm, played in, and unlike many Byers you have seen posted here, which have largely been his lattice guitars, this is a fan braced version. So players who lean towards traditional sounding guitars, but yearn for more access to the upper registers will love this guitar and it’s ‘Millennium’ style elevated fret board which provides access nearly as good as having a ‘cutaway’ without any of the tone/volume loss.

The guitar has signs of playing wear, polish was touched up at some point in the past, has some dulling of the finish on the back and two tiny ‘micro cleates’ under the top which Greg installed due to two small invisible cracks he found, but which I am unable to detect.

Playability is superb. A lovely sounding and playing Byers.
