Over the past decades I have had the pleasure of playing many of Michel’s World Class double tops, and have placed these spectacular instruments with appreciative clients of mine all around the globe. Several highly discriminating player/clients of mine were so impressed in fact that upon receiving the new Brück they almost instantly ordered a second one, perhaps with a a Spruce double top if the first one was Cedar etc.

This year the highly talented Tayana Ryzhkova accepted delivery of her new Cedar Brück double top to replace her 2011 which she sold when her new one arrived. You can enjoy listening and watching her play her Brück on the video posted on this page.

Michel continues to refine his guitars year after year and as great as his earlier guitars are, I can definitely say that he has managed to somehow continue making them even better over time. This one is simply one of, if not ’the’, best instrument I have had the privilege to play. It has the lush beautiful voice we all expect from his guitars, which as I have noted before seem to have one foot in traditional tone and one foot in the modern double top world, but every other component is somehow even ‘more’. It is absolutely friendly to your fretting hand, so comfortable the action is, and the musical and elegant voice is even more responsive to your touch then ever, I really don’t know how he does it. Tremendous presence, a very even and balanced tonal palate and of course concert level volume and projection. Let your right hand just ’tickle’ the strings, and you’ll be amazed at what is produced.

The soundboard is fine Cedar, the back and sides CITES Brazilian Rosewood, certificate included, Rogers tuners and a Hiscox case.
