This guitar has lovely Rosewood back and sides, a comfortable arm rest, and differs from Ana’s primarily in that she requested Jim to use the lattice style headstock she is so used to on her double top, instead of the usual double top headstock, as on this guitar.

The guitar sounds like Ana’s, absolutely jaw dropping. A lush full beautiful voice with extraordinary balance and clarity, stunning volume, dynamic range that seems to scream “go ahead just try me” and the famous Redgate neck/action which sooooo comfortable to play.

Once again Jim has hit it out of the park, though we are used to this, and it comes as no surprise.Redgate’s for sale at any point in time. Owners tend to keep them as ‘forever guitars’, including Ana who owns 3 Redgate’s of her own, two lattice and one double top. You have heard them in concert likely. You have heard them on recordings. By now many of you own one of your own. You know them nearly as well as I do!

What remains to be said? Jim, after years of building incredible guitars, is at a level in his building where his vast experience combined with input from top level concert artists, have all coalesced into his current guitars which are the best guitars of his career.

impeccable guitars with a playability that matches their exquisite tone, no words needed to describe as you have already heard it yourself by now. Being that Jim is a VERY consistent builder his current guitars will sound the same or better even than any concert or recording you have heard where they have been played.
