Martin’s guitars have a huge following, and I am honored to be his representative! This is a stunning example of why demand for his guitars is so strong. He builds a world class double top, and as I see/hear/sell more double tops than anybody in the world, I was very excited to add Martin’s guitars along side of the other superb double tops I am known for.

Martin routinely doubles the sides, not like the Australian builders do with many layers, but just enough to make the sides very light but very strong. His double top he considers a hybrid and uses his own ’secret sauce’ to create a sound that enhances all aspects of the tone. The result is a powerful modern guitar with an elegant textured voice.

And what about the action? Man this guitar is so comfortable to play it defies description, my hand just refused to get tired no matter how long I played, I don’t know quite how he does it.

The bloodwood in the rosette and binding add a striking visual accent to the overall look of this beauty. The back and sides are lacquer the top is french polished in shellac. Add the elevated fret board, and 20th half fret, and Visesnut case and really, there is not much more you could ask for in a fine double top.
