With luminaries such as Tatyana Ryzhkova playing a Brück double top, it is little wonder that Michel’s guitars are in high demand, resulting in a wait list of nearly 10 years.
Michel has been building world class double tops in Germany for years and he is a meticulous, creative, and artistic builder. His double tops are often referred to as Hauser ll’s on steroids, which alludes to the fact that while they are definitely modern double tops with the dynamic range, volume and projection expected from those contemporary guitars, he also has one foot in the ’traditional’ fan braced world and his voicing brings the two disparate worlds together in complete harmony.
This instrument is a classic sample of what Michel creates, sublime voice with singing basses and clear round trebles, excellent sustain resounds as well. The elevated fret board provides excellent access and the neck shape is very comfortable. The Rodgers tuners are, as always, smooth and precise, just like the guitar itself.
