Michel spent years not only building fine Hauser style guitars, but also working on guitars in collections of the master, Arias, Simplicio, Torres, Hauser etc. So years ago when he elected to build double top guitars exclusively, he incorporated into his double top guitars all that he learned from studying the masters, such that I often refer to his guitars as ‘ a Hauser ll on steroids ‘.
This guitar is stunningly crafted and the workmanship is of the highest level. Michel used fine cedar for the top, very light, and a gorgeous set of Zirocote for the back and sides which is absolutely lovely to look at.
Michel’s list is years long, so I am very happy to offer this new guitar of his, Michel along with his friend Jakob Lebisch have essentially become the ’new Dammann’s’ as players realize the Dammann list is essentially closed for all intents and purposes.
A superb double top of the highest caliber from Germany, where it all began.
