From the famed Jose Ramirez shop in Madrid comes this fine 1973 1a in stunning near new condition. Save for one string ding below the tie block where the first string is, and some normal ‘age crazing’ on the rosette, she appears flawlessly brand new, just beautiful.
Included are the original invoices from Spain dated Feb 5, 1973, some other original documents of the original acquisition, and an original copy of ‘care instructions’ from 1973, very cool.
The guitar has a longer scale but plays as expected, and has a nicely played in warm traditional Ramirez Spanish tone.
Any lover of vintage Ramirez guitars from their ‘Golden Era’ would love this.
