2001 German Vasquez Rubio “Hauser” Model

Top: Spruce
Back and sides: Rosewood
Scale : 650mm
Origin: USA
Price: $7,500

I remember visiting German’s shop at his home back in the late 90’s, he has now been building more than 50 years. This model is the model that won him first place at a prestigious show in 2000 and the model he is probably best known for, his Hauser model.

This guitar is in essentially new condition, remarkably well cared for with lovely woods. The 20th half fret is a bonus, the playability, a feature German is known for, is wonderful, great clarity between notes, and is very nicely balanced, a gret example of the work that has brought German his well deserved reputation as a fine builder.

A like new guitar, at a very fair price considering the woods, with a lovely voice and a great case.
