This superb Fleta built in 1970 during his “Cedar period” has been well cared for during its life and presents in fine condition. As noted in the accompanying appraisal from Richard Brune, the top was ‘padded over’ in expert fashion to remove a few nail marks etc, and the neck was re shaped leaving it very comfortable to play. The original Fustero tuners were also replaced at some point with Reischl tuners sporting bone buttons. It presents as a well cared for near new looking instrument.

This guitar is a joy to play, the neck is super comfortable and well shaped, making it easier to play than some Fleta’s that have been in my shop. The voice is magical, no wonder Fleta’s have been played by so many noted artists, just shimmering lively and emotional and with spruce like separation of the voices, even though it is a warm rich cedar sounding instrument.

A beautiful Fleta, in lovely condition, with a gorgeous voice….
