It is really nice to visit with this guitar again. I sold it when it was new to the current owner who has enjoyed it all these years but finds himself playing more steel string now. I remember when this guitar arrived in my shop and as luck would have it Manuel Barrueco was visiting my shop to test drive a Dammann I had at the time. Manuel played maybe 7-8 guitars during his visit ( Yes this is a sweet benefit to my job, private concerts like this!) and he kept saying ‘bring me that one again’, and he kept returning to this guitar. When he left he told me this was one of his favorite guitars that he played that day in my shop. What else needs to be said?

The guitar is in very good condition with only some light string marks below the bridge, and a couple other light marks, otherwise she looks nearly as new as she did the day she left my shop years ago.

A great example of Fritz’s work and a fine double top that pleased Manuel Barrueco which makes me think it might please most players.
