Although I am the only dealer in the world that Jose and Liam ever endorsed and worked with, and have sold many new Romanillos guitars, it is still fairly unusual for me to have the pleasure of offering a pre owned one. Folks just love them too much, and tend to hold on to them for life. So it is a pleasure to see and hear “El Libro” again. She sold new to my client in 2014 and is in near new condition still.
Like all Romanillos guitars, my favorite fan braced Spruce guitars of all, she has that sublime choir-like voice that is unique to Romanillos guitars. Lush, emotional, complex voice that leaves you listening for every lovely surprise she has to offer. What a joy these are.
As always this guitar uses the same old aged Spruce and Indian Rosewood cut by Jose so many decades ago and now well aged in the shops attic. Just this wood alone makes these guitars special sounding, so few luthiers have wood of this caliber any more.
She has a 20th half fret, Hiscox case, and effortless Graf tuners.
