NEW Michel Brück Cedar double/composite top
Michel’s ten plus year wait list is a testimony to the popularity of his guitars. Known for their beautiful traditional tonal character but coupled with the attributes we expect of modern guitars, they are treasured and sought after double tops.
Michel spent years curating guitars in some of the finest collections in Europe, Simplicio, Hauser, Torres, Fleta etc and also spent years making lovely Hauser inspired instruments. Perhaps not surprisingly then when he began building double tops years ago, he was able to infuse the best of old and new into his guitars resulting in what I have always referred to as “Hauser ll’s on steroids”.
This guitar has old stable cites documented Brazilian Rosewood giving it a rich noble character, and fine tight grained cedar giving it both warmth and power. Clean clear full round trebles all the way up the scale, and rich multilayered basses, create a complex and haunting voice enhanced by the power/projection/dynamic range typical of Michel’s superb instruments.
A refined, noble, and elegant cedar double top indeed…
