It has been a while since I had the good fortune of receiving a new Delarue guitar so I have been understandably excited for this beauty to arrive, and now she is here!
Long described as the heir apparent to the legacy of Daniel Friederich, his guitars have similar qualities to a fine Friederich, rich creamy basses, round lyrical trebles, superb balance and an overall ’shimmering’ character that I try my best to describe with words, but always fail to capture, just magical. This guitar has those qualities.
A lovely brand new Dominique Delarue, essentially a Friederich for a fraction of the price, but this does Dominique a disservice because his guitars have their own lush character and qualities that I am sure Daniel Friederich himself might envy.
Easy to fall in love with this one…
