It was an honor for me to deliver new Woodfield’s to both Scott Tennant and Andrew York. Scott played his for many years, and said it went around the world multiple times with him. Andy recently posted a lovely video playing his Woodfield as well. Spruce lovers particularly love Woodfields as Phillip is considered the ’Spruce Whisperer’ in many circles, he really understands Spruce.

This short scale Woodfield has it all, 645mm super easy action, Rodgers tuners, Karura Carbon fiber case, 20th half fret, Macassar Ebony back and sides ( one of Phillip’s favorite woods along with his 5,000 year old ‘Bog Oak’, and a love rosette. If you have heard Scott or Andy play their Woodfield guitars, you know how lovely the tone is, and the Grand Concert ll model has Phillip’s trademark elevated fret board only on the treble side where it is needed. Plays and sounds like a dream.

There are a few very light marks on the top, I have a photo of the most noticeable one below, and even that you must hold it in the light just right to see, otherwise it appears near new and very well cared for.
