Leonard builds in Lorient, France and received guidance from Dominique Field when getting started, though Leonard proceeded in his own direction favoring lattice braced guitars. He has also been influenced by English and German building styles as well.
This guitar, number 107, a Spruce lattice braced, has good balance and tonal clarity that you find in well constructed Spruce lattice guitars, along with ample volume and plenty of sustain. The workmanship quality is excellent as well, resulting in a very pleasing instrument from all perspectives.
