Philip Woodfield has been a highly sought after builder for many years and while he has a long wait list as you might expect, I am very fortunate to be able to offer a new custom built guitar for my clients from time to time. Philip not only creates some of the most hauntingly lovely sounding instruments, supported by modern volume and response but he is also a legendary artist and his hand crafted scroll work and art found on the headstock, rosette and sometimes tie block are works of art in an of themselves.
