As a player who loves cedar but leans towards Spruce, I searched for years for a ‘go to’ Spruce double top builder. Spruce double tops are challenging and in my experience only the finest double top builders can build them well. Andreas builds so well in Spruce that I highly recommend his guitars for my clients seeking a top level Spruce double top, probably 90% of the guitar I sell to my clients that Andreas builds are Spruce for that reason. Very fine German Spruce double tops.
