2019 Philip Woodfield “Grand Concert ll” Spruce/Lattice braced

This 2019 Woodfield is in near new condition, with some very light paying marks below the first string and one small mark on the back, all barely visible, otherwise like new. Sadly my client experienced some medical problems involving his vision and can no longer play so he asked me to find a worthy new home for his ‘baby’. Below is what I wrote about the guitar just a few months ago when it was new:
This guitar reminds me so much of the Woodfield Scott Tennant of the LA Guitar Quartet acquired from me when it was brand new and as yet unplayed. Even now the guitar sounds incredible, clear, powerful, focused, expressive, amd if Scott’s guitar is any indication, and it is , this will play in equally as stunning as his did, the joy of a fine Spruce guitar. Philip was so impressed with this guitar that he asked me to share it with Scott before it sold, sadly Scott’s schedule prevented this, but I can see why Philip loves this instrument. The Grand Concert model has a unique unilateral elevated fingerboard, so the view for the guitarist is the same as a traditional guitar but the treble side is well elevated providing almost ‘cutaway-like’ access to the upper registers. Additionally, Philips guitars are litereally works of art, his hand applied scrollwork on the rosette and tie block is elegant and slightly whimsical, a lovely artistic touch as is the double helix design along the center seam of the back. Speaking of the back ( and sides ) Philip elected to use some very special and very dense 5000 year old Oak from a Bog in Ireland. A superb and beautiful wood that ads a mysterious character to the sound like non other. A very rare and wonderful Woodfield for the discriminating player.
