This is a spectacular guitar, especially considering it is brand new Spruce and never played, and already the voice and volume are out of the park. It is essentially a “mirror” to the Woodfield Scott Tennant acquired from me and which he plays in his concerts and recordings, same spruce, same back and sides, same sound really, just exquisite. Powerful rich basses and deep bell like trebles, with ample volume and projection and superior response, Phil is one of my all time favorite builders of Spruce lattice style guitars, just incredible to hear. If that is not enough he is an amazing artist, look at the hand scrolled rosette (tie block is matching too). A powerful and expressive Spruce concert level guitar.
