To Resonator fans Tim Scheerhorn needs no introduction, his highly coveted Instruments are played by a ‘who’s who’ of Dobro players. As his waiting list extended beyond his ability to produce guitars, and ultimately when he retired, Scheerhorn searched for a way to get his instruments and his concept out into the world without the multi year wait, and at a price more people could afford. Fortunately he approached San Louis Obispo, CA based National Guitars, a widely respected builder of Resonator instruments, and the two collaborated to create the Scheerhorn model which is a virtual duplicate of a hand made Scheerhorn Resonator. This instrument is in flawless like new condition, unplayed really, and comes in the ’Scheerhorn’ case as well. A lot of resonator, for a very reasonable price.
